Do you look like you spent the night burning the midnight oil even when you hit the sack early? If you look tired even when you’re not, ask us about eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty). We can wake up your appearance and rejuvenate the eye area. If you’re tired of looking tired, blepharoplasty is the solution.
What Is Blepharoplasty?
Blepharoplasty is surgery to improve the appearance or function of the eyelid area. It can be performed on the upper eyelids, lower eyelids, or both (depending on your needs). The procedure is customized to your problem areas and concerns. It can correct:
- Sagging eyelids.
- Fatty pouches beneath the eyes.
- Excess skin on the upper eyelids.
- A tired, worn-out appearance around the eyes.
Blepharoplasty can be performed on its own or in conjunction with other facial rejuvenations, such as a brow lift or laser skin resurfacing. The procedure is done in our office operating room with local anesthetic and mild sedation for those who need it.
Blepharoplasty – Not Just for Cosmetic Concerns
Blepharoplasty is a cosmetic procedure, but it can have vision benefits, too. Blepharoplasty can lift sagging skin around the eyes, which may improve the field of vision if skin is blocking them. Look better and see better, too.
What’s Recovery Like After Blepharoplasty?
Since blepharoplasty surgery is highly individualized, it is difficult to determine what your recovery will be like without an examination. Schedule a consultation and examination to discuss your options. Most patients take a few days off from work to recover. The more extensive the surgery, the longer the recovery time. We can give you a better idea of what to expect once you’ve met with Dr. Dale Abadir.
How Long Do Results Last?
Eyelid surgery offers lasting results. Many patients only need the procedure once and enjoy results for 10 years or more.
