William Reed RPA-C received his Medical Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at Mercy College in 2005 with training at New York Medical College, California Pacific Medical Center and Montefiore Medical Center. During his training he conducting research authored a paper for a National Institute for Health studies program.
He continued his training dermatology studying with attendings from New York University, Columbia University and Mount Sinai. Most recent expertise in allergic, mast cell and immune-mediated disorders of the skin. He regularly attends postgraduate seminars in both cosmetic and medical dermatology constantly improving his skills and knowledge.
During the past 10 years he has done extensive dermatology research and written for foundations, industry and leading national magazines and publications.
He is NCCPA certified and a Registered Physician Assistant in New York. He is a preceptor for both medical and physician assistant interns. He is a member in good standing with the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society for Dermatology Physician Assistants.
