FACIAL VEIN TREATMENT
Many individuals, especially those with lighter skin tones, develop an increasing number of fine, superficial blood vessels (or telangiectasia) of the face. This gives a permanent pink coloration and flushing with exercise, intake of alcohol or spicy foods and conditions resulting in increase body warmth (hot showers, hot weather, etc.)
Our state of the art Iridex laser, effectively destroys these unwanted vessels, while leaving the surrounding skin unharmed. It will not leave an undesirable purple discoloration for several days, as do other lasers used for this purpose. The treated area may be slightly pink immediately following treatment, but usually this has completely resolved by the following day.
